Paul Rountree - President

Paul Rountree is a native Floridian, growing up in the Tampa Bay area.  He served as an Aviation Specialist in the Army and was named “Soldier of the Year” for the HHC of 12th Aviation Brigade.  In 1997, after leaving the army, he moved to the Orlando area and began his career in banking with First National Bank of Central Florida. Paul moved to Clermont in 2003 where he joined the team at Florida Choice Bank as Area President. In 2009, he was instrumental in the opening of First Green Bank, where he served as President and a founding Director of the Bank until 2015.  Paul is currently the Executive Vice President for Mainstreet Community Bank, located in Clermont and is also a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP). Paul earned his bachelor’s degree from The University of Central Florida in Business Management in 2005.  He is very active in his community, currently serving as a board member and past president of Project Scholars and their signature event, Pig on the Pond, current Vice President of the South Lake Hospital District Board, and a member of South Lake Chamber of Commerce.  He is also a past board member of the Community Foundation of South Lake and has served on the board of South Lake Pop Warner.  Additionally, Paul is an active volunteer and coach for various youth league.

Don Rose - Treasurer

Don Rose, now retired, was previously Director of Finance at Comtech Systems, Inc. in Orlando.  He is a member of First United Methodist Church of Clermont where he has served as Chairperson of the Finance Committee and is currently serving on the Missions Committee. Don has also served as Treasurer of several other non-profit organizations, and is currently also serving on the board of the South Lake Community Foundation.

Lisa Busto

Lisa Busto is a 22-year resident of Clermont and a native Floridian born in St. Cloud. She earned her Associates degree from Valencia College, studied Interior Design at Southern College, and attended the University of Central Florida. She currently works at the National Entrepreneur Center in Orlando as Director of Community Engagement where she connects groups and individuals with the appropriate resources at the Center. Additionally, she manages the Center’s special events and provides marketing support. She also works at the First United Methodist Church of Clermont, serving as Communications Coordinator, and is a member of the Parks Consulting Services team, where she provides project management support. She previously worked with Focus Magazine and was an ambassador with the South Lake Chamber of Commerce for several years.

Tom English

Tom English has been a Project Scholars/Pig on the Pond board member since 2008. Born in rural NJ, Tom attended Barry University in Miami as an adult night student.  After graduating he moved to Orlando, then into Clermont in 1999. “I’ve raised two amazing girls here, created many meaningful lifelong relationships, and feel blessed each day to call Clermont my home.”  Tom is the Sales Leader/Senior Mortgage Loan Advisor at Coast2Coast Lending. Tom has held board positions on the Southlake Chamber of Commerce and the Community Foundation of South Lake.  He currently sits on the Florida Health Care Alliance board of directors. Tom enjoys many sports and a healthy lifestyle.
